Ingredients

  • 720 ml water
  • 3 large Black Tea bags (or 6 common)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Seeds of 3-4 Cardamom pods
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 350 ml evaporated milk (or milk/cream mix)

Preparation

  1. 1. Boil water, add tea, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. 3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add milk and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Strain finely and serve hot.

Notes

Adult use. Contains caffeine, so moderate use is recommended. Contains dairy. Spices may irritate the stomach. Nutmeg should be used only as a minimal pinch. Pregnant or nursing women and children should avoid it.
