Ingredients
- 720 ml water
- 3 large Black Tea bags (or 6 common)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Seeds of 3-4 Cardamom pods
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 350 ml evaporated milk (or milk/cream mix)
Preparation
- 1. Boil water, add tea, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- 2. Add sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- 3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4. Add milk and simmer for 2 minutes.
- 5. Strain finely and serve hot.
Notes
Adult use. Contains caffeine, so moderate use is recommended. Contains dairy. Spices may irritate the stomach. Nutmeg should be used only as a minimal pinch. Pregnant or nursing women and children should avoid it.
