Ingredients
- 500 ml hot water
- 4 Black Tea bags
- 450 g fresh strawberries sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp strawberry syrup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 500 ml cold water
Preparation
- 1. Boil 500ml water, turn off.
- 2. Steep tea for 4-5 minutes, remove bags, and cool.
- 3. Mix strawberries with sugar and wait 10 minutes.
- 4. Add syrup and lemon, mash strawberries.
- 5. Mix cold tea, strawberry mixture, and cold water in a pitcher.
- 6. Refrigerate until very cold.
Notes
Adult use. Contains caffeine, so moderate use is recommended. People with hypertension, arrhythmia, anxiety, gastritis, reflux, or caffeine sensitivity should reduce intake. High sugar content means diabetics should adjust. If no syrup is available, use more ripe fruit. Consume within 24 hours.
