Ingredients
- For syrup: 250 ml water, 1 cup sugar, 2 fresh peach slices (or more to taste)
- For tea: 1.4 liters water and 3 black tea bags
- Ice to taste
Preparation
- 1. In a small pot, mix syrup water, sugar, and peach slices and bring to a boil.
- 2. Lower to medium heat, cook for about 5 minutes, stirring and mashing peach slightly until sugar dissolves.
- 3. Turn off, cover, steep for 30 minutes, then strain.
- 4. In another pot, boil tea water, turn off, and add tea bags.
- 5. Steep for 5 minutes and remove bags.
- 6. Mix peach syrup into tea, cool, and refrigerate.
- 7. Serve with ice and garnish with peach slices if desired.
Notes
Adult use. Contains caffeine, so moderate use is recommended, especially at night. People with hypertension, arrhythmia, anxiety, gastritis, reflux, or caffeine sensitivity should reduce intake and seek advice. Contains sugar, so adjust to taste. Keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.
