Ingredients
- 350 ml water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 to 2 tsp honey (optional)
- Juice of 1/4 to 1/2 lemon
Preparation
- 1. Boil water with cinnamon for 5 minutes.
- 2. Turn off and rest for 5 minutes.
- 3. Strain and cool slightly.
- 4. Mix lemon and honey if desired.
- 5. Drink warm after meals.
Notes
Adult use. Lemon is acidic and may irritate gastritis or reflux. Cinnamon may irritate sensitive people. Honey is not for infants under 1 year. If severe pain or persistent symptoms occur, seek care.
