- 1 small piece fresh turmeric, or 1/2 tsp powder
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 500 ml water
- 1 teaspoon honey, optional
Preparation
- 1. Boil water with turmeric and cinnamon for 5 minutes.
- 2. Turn off heat and steep for 5 minutes.
- 3. Strain and sweeten when warm.
Notes
Adult use. Turmeric requires caution in gastritis and with anticoagulants. Cinnamon may also irritate sensitive people. Pregnant or nursing women should avoid it without guidance.
