Ingredients

  • 240 ml strong black tea (made with 2 bags in 240 ml water)
  • 600 ml orange juice (preferably fresh)
  • 400 ml pineapple juice (whole or fresh)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
  • Ice to taste
  • Sparkling water (optional)

Preparation

  1. 1. Prepare strong black tea and sweeten while warm if desired.
  2. 2. Let cool and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  3. 3. In a large pitcher, mix the iced tea with juices and lemon.
  4. 4. Adjust sweetness and serve with plenty of ice.
  5. 5. If desired, top with a splash of sparkling water just before serving.

Notes

Adult use. Contains caffeine, so moderate use is recommended, especially at night. People with hypertension, arrhythmia, anxiety, gastritis, reflux, or caffeine sensitivity should reduce intake and seek advice. Adjust sugar or honey to taste. Keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.
